Last night you stayed up really late to watch a TV program about African animals on the Discovery Channel. After the program finished, you went to your room and fell asleep. Then, you had a really strange dream. You are standing alone outside your driveway. All of a sudden you hear a high-pitched howl sounding like a coyote. You turn your head to the right acknowledging where the sound is coming from. Looking straight ahead of you again there is a 1965 pastel rustic fun decorated Volkswagen bus just sitting right in front of you. About 30 seconds of just staring at the bus, the doors open creepily. Do you get on the bus?
You decided to get on this bus, reassuring yourself this is just a dream. As you’re getting on the bus, you realize something strange. The bus driver is a tall, yellow… GIRAFFE?! Looking at all the passengers you notice they’re all monkeys, tigers and t-rex dinosaurs. You sit down next to a large, fierce looking t-rex, and he looks down at you and smiles. “Good morning,” the t-rex harmlessly says. You give the t-rex a soft looking smile and reply “Hello.”
After that, you look out a window and see that the bus is flying high above the ground. Everything beneath you is becoming smaller, blurrier and darker as you enter into space. You still have no idea where you are, who you are with and where you are going. You start panicking. You feel as if you are not dreaming anymore. You look to the t-rex sweating nervously. What do you do?
Start asking the t-rex questions or Try to wake yourself up
Looking at the t-rex you ask him “Where am I?” “Who are you guys?” “Where are we going?” He replies, “How rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Remmy the t-rex. You are on the Invisible VWB 500. No one is able to see us except for those we choose. Everyone on this bus is headed to space back to our planet Nagini. We come to earth once every 5 months to bring us animals back to our original planet.” The bus comes to an abrupt stop. “Well kid, this is our pit stop. Only 5,000 more miles to go. How about you check out this planet with me?”
Follow Remmy or Stay on the bus
Following Remmy, you look around noticing how beautiful the planet is. You take a deep breath and smell freshly cut grass with a light scent of pinecone. The planet is covered in greens with striking tall trees, enormous rocks and hidden waterfalls. You feel as it’s a late afternoon here as see dusky colors subdued in the fading lights while a dim evening light was approaching. The clean, well-lit trail you are on comes to an end. You look up and see Remmy smiling on top of a gigantic rock covered in moss with two graceful waterfalls in front of you both. You walk to where Remmy is and both of you decide to go swimming.
As you’re both swimming you feel something uncomfortable at the bottom of your foot. Shortly after, your foot is gets caught and feels something wrapping your ankle. You start screaming. You don’t move. You don’t want to startle whatever has a hold of you. Squinting, you anxiously and fearfully look into the water to see if you are able to notice anything. Your eyes get wide and face gets pale as you see long, sharp fangs coming at you.
Immediately, you hear a sound… your cell phone is ringing! You come back to reality and wake up. You are sweating profusely. You wonder whether it was a dream or an actual incident. You take some time to realize where you are. Your heart’s pounding with all this adrenaline rush. You look at your phone and fanatic. Your alarm clock was ringing. It was 10:00 am and you were late for school. You ask yourself if you should just go and be late to school or take a “sick” day.
