Video

When I was shooting this I wanted to make a commercial using my dog, Oakley, as the star of the show. I wanted to have different clips within the video showing things I personally wish someone else could do for me at times. I wanted to make the video feel as if you were actually watching a commercial break. I decided to record about 20 seconds of the beginning of Rick and Morty to give the viewer the feel as if they were watching a show. I decided to create my own GIPHY as a transition from Ricky and Morty to the commercial.

I used white sheets for a background and props that I could find that would help each of my clips within the video. I was recording this for about 3 days trying to get different content, for example, the driving to Chick-Fil-A.

Editing, I used many different apps. I used PicArt to make each transition photo in the video (like the “Extras” and “Thank you so much for watching”. I used snapchat to get some of the fun animations and stickers on the photos with Oakley. After I used TikTok to put words, some music and the ad all together.

In all, I had lots of fun with this project and learned a lot that I will be able to apply every day!
